Sidewalk isolation facility
1．人行道隔离设施是设置在人行道外边缘，起保护行人在人行道上有秩序地活动，并有防止行人任意步入和横穿车行道的作用。
The 1. sidewalk isolation facility is set on the outer edge of the sidewalk to protect pedestrians on the sidewalk with an orderly movement, and to prevent pedestrians from stepping into the road and crossing the road.
2．人行道隔离设施的形式主要是绿化分隔带和人行道护栏。在市区范围内，人行道宽度大于2.5m时，优先选取的形式依次为绿化分隔带、人行道护栏，当人行道宽度不大于2.5m时，人行道隔离设施应选择设置人行道护栏。

3．人行道隔离设施类型采用绿化分隔带时，可参照市政设计相关规定进行设计施工。

5．符合下列道路交通情况之一的新建、改建道路可设置人行道隔离设施：

（1）城市道路有商业路段、路口的地方。
(1) There are commercial sections and intersections on urban roads.
（2）城市道路安装信号灯的路口。
(2) the intersection of signal lights on urban roads.
（3）车站、码头、地铁、天桥和大型公共场所的出入口及周围相连的道路上。
(3) the entrance and exit of stations, wharves, subway, flyovers and large public places and the roads connected to them.
（4）停车场（库）和大、中型单位与道路相连的出入口局部路段。
(4) parking lots (storehouses) and large and medium-sized units connected with roads.
6．人行道隔离设施开口是提供车辆和行人遵照规定通行的通道口，应根据交通管理需要在确保安全情况下进行设置。
The opening of the 6. sidewalk isolation facility is a passageway provided by vehicles and pedestrians, which should be set up in safety conditions according to the needs of traffic management.
7．设置人行道隔离护栏遇障碍物，如消防拴、邮箱和电杆等，应采取避让原则，或者将护栏开口与障碍物进行结合，在不影响障碍物功能的前提下，保持护栏的连续性、美观性。
